We are seeking an experienced and strategic Learning and Organisational Development Lead to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of Council’s leadership, learning and organisational development capability. In this pivotal role you will lead a dedicated team of analysis, design, implement and evaluate contemporary learning and organisational development programs, practices and frameworks that cultivate a values-based, inclusive and high performing workforce. You will play a key role in enabling Councils strategic directions to be achieved through people.
The role has both strategic and operational scope and leads major programs of work across the employee lifecycle, including the implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS), workforce management strategy initiatives, onboarding, diversity and inclusion, employee engagement and culture, performance and capability development, coaching and mentoring, talent and succession planning, study assistance and employee recognition.
You are a strategic, people-centred leader with a strong track record in learning and organisational development. You bring contemporary thinking, strong influencing skills and a collaborative approach to uplifting organisational capability and driving meaningful cultural change.
