A local government council in Lymington is seeking a Lead Waste and Recycling Advisor to lead a team and guide residents through upcoming recycling service changes. The candidate should possess strong communication skills, experience in customer care, and a minimum GCSE education. This position offers a salary between £27,939 - £30,372 per annum, hybrid working, and additional employee benefits.
Do you want to help us shape the future of waste and recycling for the New Forest? Are you passionate about recycling more and wasting less? An opportunity has arisen for a Lead Waste and Recycling Advisor – Fixed term to join our waste and recycling team. You will lead a team of 3 Waste and Recycling Advisors, and together you will help guide and support our residents through the forthcoming waste and recycling service changes for 2025 and 2026.
Are you good at working with and helping people? You will be able to engage, and build excellent relationships with our residents, businesses, and other key stakeholders, providing information that will help drive behaviour change. This will involve answering customer enquiries, processing requests, and resolving issues. We must ensure our residents are fully informed and able to participate in the new recycling initiatives and you will be pivotal to the success of the service changes and the anticipated increase in recycling across the district.
