Job summary

A forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their growing team in Chigwell. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in UK-based structural design, capable of leading projects, managing junior staff, and delivering hands-on project results. This role offers a competitive salary of £42k-£46k, along with a fixed monthly bonus, half-day Fridays, and the option to work from home on certain days.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' UK-based consultancy experience.
• Either approaching Chartership or already Chartered (ICE or IStructE).
• Comfortable managing junior staff and leading project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage projects, carrying out detailed structural calculations.
• Attend site and client visits liaising at all levels.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
