Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Principal Supportability Engineer to lead integrated product support activities in a mission-critical environment. This role requires substantial experience in ILS/IPS, team management, and the ability to communicate effectively. Responsibilities include delivering support strategies, managing support modelling, and producing Supportability Case Reports. Ideal candidates will possess a Level 6 qualification or equivalent and have proven leadership in fast-paced engineering settings. This role allows for autonomy and requires travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in ILS/IPS, ideally within UK MOD environments.
• Background supporting complex systems and equipment.
• Experience developing and managing support modelling for in-service and change programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small team delivering LSA.
• Work closely with engineering teams for design supportability.
• Capture and manage supportability data using a proprietary LSAR.
• Produce and manage Supportability Case Reports.
