Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join and lead our nurse practitioner team and services in our Outpatient Department.

It is an exciting time to join NHS Golden Jubilee University Hospital. As part of a significant investment we have expanded our hospital site to be able to offer our services to more patients across the West of Scotland. The department provides pre-operative assessment to our national elective and heart lung service to patients requiring surgery for orthopaedic, cardiac, thoracic, general and colorectal surgery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the nurse practitioner team and services in the Outpatient Department.
  • Deliver high quality, safe, effective and person-centred pre-operative assessment and related services for patients across orthopaedic, cardiac, thoracic, general and colorectal surgery pathways.
Qualifications and skills
  • Registered nurse with extensive post-registration experience in the pre-operative assessment setting.
  • Demonstrated management experience, leadership qualities and professional values to develop and lead the team.
