Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in microwave instrumentation or other remote sensing instrumentation.
• In-depth understanding of calibration and validation of remote sensing payloads.
• Proven experience in developing and validating retrieval algorithms for satellite microwave sensors.
• Proficient with Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee in-orbit calibration and validation of microwave instruments.
• Maintain scientific code base for ground processing of microwave sensor observation data.
• Analyze and visualize large-scale Earth observation datasets.
