Overview
Lead Employee Human Resources Manager role at GE Aerospace's Norwich, NY manufacturing facility. In this role, you will build client support skills by guiding people leaders and employees (hourly & salaried) and develop an in-depth understanding of key business drivers to deliver on strategic HR goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated guidance and coaching to multiple managers and employees with a focus on employee advocacy/engagement, conflict resolution, HR fundamentals and process training, employee relations management, performance management, career development, talent assessment, and workplace investigations as appropriate.
- Walk the floor and be available for employee and manager needs.
- Partner with the site HR Leader to execute site-specific HR strategies and drive cultural initiatives and transformation, including LEAN fundamentals.
- Ensure all employee relation issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved.
- Advise and counsel managers and employees to ensure consistent application of policies, performance management/discipline, procedures and practices with 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
- Lead key HR meetings including Supervisor Training, Policy review, and employee development.
- Maintain and protect confidential data with the utmost discretion and care.
- Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed.
- Utilize proper PPE, safety procedures, and follow all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of relevant experience).
- Minimum of three years of HR experience with a focus on recruiting, training, performance management, cultural transformation, HR operations, or compensation.
- Ability to work a varied schedule to be available for employees on off-shifts; experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to learn and understand all policies, practices, and procedures.
- Passionate employee advocate with strong customer service focus.
- Confidence and assertiveness with the ability to influence across functions and advocate for both managers and employees.
- Judgment to ensure integrity, compliance and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask, be detail-oriented, work independently and solve problems.

Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this position is $81,200 - 107,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by factors including candidate experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of base salary/commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on July 17th, 2025.
