Job summary

A major healthcare provider in the UK is seeking an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist to join their Clinical Trials Management team. This role will involve coordinating local pharmacy reviews for new clinical trials, offering expert advice to pharmacists, and ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in oncology and be registered as a UK Pharmacist. Qualifications

  • UK Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy or equivalent is required.
  • Full GCP (Good Clinical Practice) certificate necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate pharmacy review processes for new clinical trials.
  • Provide advice to Advanced Clinical Pharmacists and rotational pharmacists.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national legislation for trial activities.
  • Assist in developing chemotherapy electronic prescribing procedures.
  • Line manage Band 7 pharmacists within Clinical Trials team.
