This role involves assessing allegations, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed reports. Ideal candidates will have strong decision-making skills and experience in fraud investigations related to housing tenancy and council tax. This is a temporary full-time position offering £200 per day.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and delivering fraud investigations.
• Knowledge of housing tenancy and council tax fraud.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports and case files.

Responsibilities

• Assess allegations and referrals, plan investigations, and evaluate evidence.
• Conduct interviews, including under caution (PACE).
• Prepare detailed case files and written reports.
• Recommend outcomes ranging from no further action to prosecution or police referral.
• Contribute to anti-fraud policy, process development, and proactive reviews.
