Salary: NJC 24-27 £35,412 - £38,220 (FTE) £31,978 - £34,406 (Actual salary) + pension scheme (LGPS) + additional Lift Schools benefits
Hours: 37 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

About the role

Good attendance is the foundation of success at school. As our Attendance Manager, you’ll lead on attendance tracking, working closely with pupils, families and colleagues to identify patterns, remove barriers, and support those who need help to attend regularly.

You’ll
  • Monitor and analyse attendance data daily and weekly
  • Work with families and pupils to tackle persistent absence
  • Deliver and support interventions to improve attendance
  • Be a point of contact for external agencies and services
  • Promote a culture where excellent attendance is recognised and celebrated

You’ll work as part of our committed pastoral team, ensuring no pupil is left behind. This is a role where attention to detail, empathy and strong communication skills really matter.

Lift Firth Park is a vibrant, mixed secondary school for students aged 11–16. Located in Shiregreen, Sheffield, we serve around 1,200 pupils and reflect a richly diverse community, with more than a third of students speaking English as an additional language.
