Job Description

We are recruiting for a Senior Finance Analyst, to join our team responsible for leading the Legal Entity (LE) and Management Reporting Company (MRC) Process workstream under the SigniFi Finance Transformation program. This role will report directly to the LE/MRC Operations Senior Finance Manager. This role can be based in the UK, Belgium, Ireland, Czech Republic and Switzerland, though preference would be the UK.

In this high‑profile global‑facing role, you will support the Senior Finance Manager in crafting and deploying a strategy to simplify the current reporting structure to enable the business to view results based on management responsibility internally and externally for SEC and US Tax and local statutory reporting. This is fundamental in moving the Enterprise towards an end state design, where we use Legal Entity to drive our transactions and external reporting, consolidating on a Country, Currency, Sector construct.

A good understanding of our J&J Operating Model from a financial and accounting processes point of view is required and ideally you will have a strong technical understanding of the Central Finance environment and SigniFi project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the MRC to Country, Currency, and Sector (CCS) construct transition, simplifying current state complexities where required and supporting the stakeholder change management.
  • Leverage analytics to identify gaps/challenges in current LE/MRC structure.
  • Support timely execution of program results in alignment with Coordinated project plan for the LE/MRC workstream.
  • Collaborate with other SigniFi teams globally to provide insightful analytics in developing and bringing forward recommendations to Leadership team on how to deliver interim and end state design.
  • Work closely with internal cross‑functional partners to support continuous improvement and corrective actions when required to maintain run state processes.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • Fully qualified accountant or an international qualified accountant equivalent.
  • Proven experience in finance, accounting or related business experience is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) are required.
  • Must possess the drive to partner with associates at all levels of the organization and have strong communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and balance multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • The ability to maintain and improve consistent and sound business processes in a dynamic, cross‑cultural environment is required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10% of the time may be required.
  • Experience of working in a complex, multi‑ERP/system environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of standard methodologies in Accounting and Financial Systems, including SAP is preferred.
