A local healthcare service in Wokingham seeks a Healthcare Assistant to support the delivery of contraceptive care in a patient-focused clinic. This is a casual/bank hours role requiring NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care. The position involves attending to patients, ensuring effective communication between teams, and contributing to a new service aimed at improving access to essential reproductive healthcare. A compassionate individual with a keen interest in women's health is preferred.
MidHampshire Healthcare was pleased to launch a new Long-Acting ReversibleContraception (LARC) service in the Wokingham area and we are looking for adedicated and experienced Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a casual/bank hours basis.
In thisrole, you will work closely alongside our nursing staff to support the safe andefficient delivery of contraceptive care in a patient-focused clinicenvironment. Currently we run one clinic a week (on a Wednesday), but we are now looking to increase the number of clinics and therefore, require some additional HCA capability within our team.
This isan excellent opportunity to contribute to a new service aimed at improvingaccess to essential reproductive healthcare. If you're a compassionate, skilledHCA with an interest in women's health, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsiblefor attending to patients who wish to be seen by a health care professionalwithin MHH services, namely; Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC Coilsand Implants) assistance.
TheHCA will project a positive and friendly image to our patients and otherhealthcare professionals and ensure that clear channels of communication existbetween clinical and administrative teams., with the aim being to improvequality of life and a positive healthcare experience to service users.
