  • Support and facilitate Final Land Acquisition Boundary (FLAB) sessions.
  • Produce and check formal notices required for land access.

Role Summary:

I'm seeking two enthusiastic and detail-oriented Land Assembly Assistants to work on the largest rail infrastructure project in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone keen to develop a career in a specialist field.

You will play a crucial role in the process of securing land access for the project, ensuring all activities are compliant and accurately documented.

About You:
  • A degree in a relevant field such as Geography, GIS, Geomatics, or Spatial Data is highly desirable.
  • A proactive and driven individual with a strong willingness to learn.
  • No prior land referencing experience is required as training will be provided.
  • Excellent attention to detail is critical.>
  • A team player with strong communication and time management skills
  • An aptitude for understanding spatial data and maps.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assure the accuracy of land referencing data provided by suppliers.
  • Support and facilitate Final Land Acquisition Boundary (FLAB) sessions, including recording of key action points.
  • Produce and check formal notices required for land access, using a bespoke in-house workflow system.
  • Use the G-Viewer spatial system to review and analyse land data.
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure processes are followed correctly.
  • Conduct desktop research, including checking Land Registry documents.
