Overview

We are looking to recruit an experienced individual to join our established team. Reporting to our Area Repairs Manager, our Labourers provide General Labouring works for The Group to a high and consistent standard. In addition, we are looking for candidates that have a passion to advocate on behalf of people and communities. What do our Labourers do;

Responsibilities
  • Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Perform site prep, cleaning, waste removal, and minor repairs.
  • Follow health & safety procedures, including PPE use and reporting hazards.
  • Communicate with clients and supervise apprentices as needed.
  • Record work activities and assist with planning and materials.
Qualifications
  • City and Guilds Craft or minimum NVQ level 2 in an appropriate craft based trade or substantial relevant experience.
  • Experience of working as part of a multidiscipline team.
  • Experience of working collaboratively in a busy team environment.
  • Experience of delivering quality work on time.
  • Customer focused and a desire to provide services at a high standard.
  • Full driving licence and willing to travel across the Northwest.

This is a hands‑on role at the heart of the service that MSV delivers to our customers, so your effective communication skills and ability to understand the diverse needs of our customers with empathy will be key. You will be based in the communities we serve and will work under minimum supervision and as part of a team using a flexible approach.
