About The Role

Based in our Superlab on our Chelmsford Campus, your priority will be providing laboratory technical support to our Allied Health Science Team. You’ll need to provide all the resources required to run all the practical sessions taking place in the Superlab whilst aiming to enhance the student experience at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Provide laboratory technical support to the Allied Health Science Team in the Superlab.
  • Ensure resources are available to run practical sessions and contribute to an enhanced student learning experience.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two A levels (including chemistry) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable experience of running an educational or commercial laboratory.
  • Sound knowledge of basic laboratory equipment and processes.
  • Prior supervisory experience is desirable.
  • In charge of health and safety within the Superlab; prior formal training in H&S is desirable.
  • Comfortable with working with minimal guidance and be flexible since requirements vary daily.
