About the Role:

In this role, you will be covering day-to-day teaching assignments across various year groups within Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6). As a day‑to‑day teacher, your adaptability, enthusiasm, and ability to quickly build rapport with students will be key to ensuring continued high‑quality learning during teacher absences.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching within Key Stage 2 and a strong passion for helping children succeed. You should be committed to maintaining a high standard of teaching and be able to adapt to different year groups and school environments. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or a newly qualified teacher (NQT/ECT), we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver pre‑planned lessons and promote engagement with learning and tasks
  • Ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching
  • Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Maintain high expectations of behaviour and student outcomes
What You Will Need:
  • UK QTS (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a school setting (ideally within Key Stage 2)
  • An updated DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team
  • A proactive and flexible approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt to different schools and environments
  • The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
