About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join our vibrant primary school in Milton Keynes. If you are enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As a KS1 Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds by delivering the National Curriculum and supporting children in building essential academic, social, and emotional skills. You will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative team and make a real difference to the development of your students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement creative, engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of KS1 learners, in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Incorporate a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and accommodate various learning styles.
  • Encourage active participation in lessons, fostering a positive classroom dynamic.
  • Regularly assess students progress, identify areas for further development, and provide feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Differentiate lessons to ensure each child can reach their full potential, whether they need additional support or greater challenge.
  • Establish and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Ensure effective behaviour management strategies are in place to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the holistic development of each child.
  • Communicate with parents regularly about student progress, upcoming events, and any areas of concern.
  • Continue developing professionally through training and staying current with best practices in teaching.
