Academics are looking for Qualified Primary Teachers who can bring passion & excitement to the teaching of Key Stage 1 children in the Southampton area.Are you someone who wants to create an environment where these young learners can thrive and prosper?Do you want to make a difference in inspiring the younger generation?A passionate KS1 Teacher but only looking for supply or contract work? Position: KS1 TeacherLocation: SouthamptonStart Date: ImmediateContract Type: Daily supply (Could lead to longer term placements) Salary: £130 - £170 dependant on pay scale and contract type Education and training

KS1 Teacher responsibilities & requirements:

  • Deliver engaging, pre-planned and creative lessons that meet the needs of all students in KS1.
  • Providing feedback and support to help them achieve their best throughout the day.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for learning.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level.
  • A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and the ability to deliver it effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.
  • Ability to commute into Southampton if you are not based there.
  • Ideally be available a minimum of 3 days per week for supply cover.
