Job summary

A primary education provider in Greater London is seeking an experienced KS1 Learning Support Assistant to support children in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities include in-class support, delivering phonics interventions, and midday supervision. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 2 or above and demonstrate high-quality phonics teaching. Qualifications

  • Hold an NVQ Level 2 or above in Specialist Teaching & Learning Support.
  • Demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to GCSE.
  • Have experience working with primary-aged children.

Responsibilities

  • Support children during learning time in-class and provide specific interventions.
  • Participate in the midday supervision team during lunchtimes.
  • Deliver phonics teaching using the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds programme.
