KS1/2 Teacher – Full-time, day-to-day supply starting as soon as possible

These flexible opportunities are ideal for KS1 and KS2 teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You’ll be supporting pupils across a range of year groups in primary schools throughout Essex and the surrounding areas, delivering engaging lessons and helping children thrive in inclusive and well-managed classrooms.

Duties as KS1/2 Teacher:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching to KS1 and KS2 pupils across various schools
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learners
  • Support children’s academic and emotional development
  • Collaborate with support staff and senior leaders to ensure effective provision
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Provide feedback and contribute to pupil progress reviews
  • Uphold safeguarding and behaviour policies consistently
Ideal KS1/2 Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2 in mainstream primary settings
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and phonics programmes
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a KS1/2 Teacher
  • Flexible, reliable, and confident working across different schools
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
