This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Business Studies and Economics teacher to work in a school that has been rated as Outstanding by OFSTED in the last three inspections. The school also boasts a sixth form that is co‑educational and offers primarily level 3 courses. Please note, this is purely a KS 5 timetable.

Key Functions

• Teach the subjects, classes and groups as allocated by the Head of Business Studies and Economics and the Headship Team.
• Ensure that high quality teaching and learning takes place in all allocated classes.
• Support and participate in the curriculum development work of the Business Studies and Economics Curriculum Area, including the writing of schemes of work and programmes of study.
• Assist the Head of Business Studies and Economics in the maintenance of high standards of work and behaviour within Business and Economics.
• Serve as a Form Tutor and carry out the specified duties in accordance with the job description of a Form Tutor or Sixth Form Tutor.
• Support the Senior Leadership Team in the effective operation of the School.
