Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and share key legal developments, cases, and sector insights relevant to commercial disputes.
  • Create and manage legal know-how resources for the Commercial Disputes Group, supervising junior colleagues where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Knowledge team and other departments to optimise knowledge sharing.
  • Draft and publish thought leadership content, including articles, webinars, and podcasts.
  • Prepare responses to consultations and lobbying opportunities.
  • Conduct and supervise research on complex points of law and procedure.
  • Develop processes and guidance to minimise risk and ensure compliance.
  • Design and deliver training sessions and materials for lawyers and paralegals.
  • Drive team and firmwide projects and engage with professional networks to enhance visibility.
  • Coach and supervise junior colleagues.
The Successful Applicant
Your Skills and Experience
  • England & Wales qualified lawyer with at least 5 years' PQE in complex commercial disputes.
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant laws and procedures, including costs and funding rules.
  • Excellent legal analysis, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Experience in a PSL/KDL/knowledge role or similar.
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver legal training.
  • Highly organised, commercially aware, and collaborative.
  • Strong IT and data management skills; project management experience desirable.
