To support the catering team in maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring all meals are served in a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Clean kitchen areas, surfaces, and equipment thoroughly and regularly
  • Wash and sanitise dishes, utensils, and cookware
  • Assist in setting up and clearing down the kitchen and dining areas
  • Dispose of kitchen waste safely and in line with hygiene regulations
  • Keep floors, storage areas, and back‑of‑house spaces tidy and hazard‑free
  • Support the catering team with general kitchen duties as needed
  • Follow all food hygiene, health & safety, and infection control policies
  • Kind, caring, and respectful attitude toward elderly residents
  • Hard‑working and able to keep up in a fast‑paced kitchen
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when it comes to cleanliness
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • No experience needed – full training provided!
