We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Kitchen Manager in an educational environment. The Role
  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, supporting and developing staff to achieve their full potential.
  • Plan, prepare, and oversee the delivery of delicious, high-quality food for students and staff.
  • Ensure catering services run smoothly, meeting deadlines and maintaining prompt service of meals.
  • Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety across the kitchen.
  • Uphold health and safety standards, keeping a secure and safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider ISS team to deliver an exceptional experience for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Monitor stock, order supplies, and manage budgets to maintain cost-effective operations.
About You
  • Proven experience in a kitchen management role, with strong leadership skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher in cookery or catering management preferred.
  • Passionate about creating great-tasting, high-quality food.
  • Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with your team and the student community.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Motivated to drive excellence, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
