Job description
Overview

At Edgmond Hall we utilise a child centred approach to create a perfectly balanced programme of Discovery, Learning, Challenge, Support and Reflection.

Our courses are not about how much we can cram into a day, our focus is on providing the best possible holistic experience for education, personal growth, social development and mental wellbeing.

As part of the team, you will help to maintain spaces which are a home from home for children, providing a safe, comfy, homely and clean space for them to grow and develop.

Responsibilities
  • To prepare dormitories/bedrooms/washrooms and communal spaces appropriately for visitors.
  • To clean throughout the centre to a very high standard as required, including deep cleaning to a specified rota.
  • To assist with cleaning of the kitchen, dining room, and associated areas and equipment.
  • To comply with food hygiene standards, in line with Centre procedures.
  • To participate in the operation of the Council’s Appraisal Scheme.
  • Championing and executing an open culture of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) throughout the council which reflects the council’s policy, values and behaviours.
  • Such other duties as may be appropriate to achieve the objectives of the post to assist the Service Area in the fulfilment of its objectives commensurate with the post holder's salary grade, abilities and aptitudes.
  • The post holder must at all times carry out his/her responsibilities with due regard to the Council's policy, organisation and arrangements for Health and Safety at Work.

19 hours per week
