Responsibilities

• Support the chefs in planning and providing high‑quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of residents.
• Plan, prepare, and serve balanced meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
• Ensure all food prepared meets Food Hygiene Standards and employs safe methods of work.
• Manage all stocks and stores, ensuring food is correctly marked and stock rotation systems are in place.
• Maintain accurate records to satisfy food hygiene requirements, such as fridge temperature checks.

• Proven experience in a similar catering role, ideally in a care or comparable environment.
• Committed to customer care and delivering first‑class service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety COSHH regulations.
