Salary: Up to £42,000 DOE

The Role

To carry out high‑quality kitchen and bathroom installations, maintenance, and associated multi‑trade works in occupied and void social housing properties. The role ensures properties meet required standards, providing a safe, comfortable, and well‑presented home for residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake full kitchen and bathroom replacements, including associated carpentry, plumbing, tiling, flooring, and finishing works.
  • Carry out multi‑trade repairs and planned maintenance tasks to a high standard and within agreed timescales.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations, building standards, and company procedures.
  • Work professionally in occupied properties, maintaining respect and good communication with tenants and colleagues.
  • Accurately record work completed using handheld devices or job sheets.
  • Report any additional works, safeguarding concerns, or property condition issues to your line manager.
  • Maintain company tools, van, and materials in good order.
  • Support the wider team with void turnaround, responsive repairs, and planned maintenance projects as required.
About You
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
  • Proven experience in kitchen and bathroom fitting within social housing or domestic property environments.
  • Competence in multiple trades — e.g. carpentry, plumbing, tiling, plaster patching, and decorating.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements, including safe use of tools and materials.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Desirable:
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a core trade (Carpentry, Plumbing, or Multi‑trade).
  • Experience working in occupied homes with vulnerable tenants.
  • Basic IT or handheld device literacy for job reporting.
