Overview
The Key Accounts Manager role is a 1 year maternity contract with a well-established company producing premium products for UK food retail, wholesale, and foodservice sectors.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver customer growth by creating agreed objectives and strategies that align with the company’s overall business goals.
- Maximise sales and profitability through effective negotiation, smart pricing, and identifying new opportunities in the market.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular visits, clear communication, and close collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead and manage projects from planning to delivery, ensuring accurate forecasting, market awareness, and continuous improvement.
About You / Qualifications
- Commercial experience within an FMCG setting, ideally managing customers across retail and/or food service.
- Skilled in building strong client relationships, consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets, and delivering clear, impactful communication.
- Highly self-motivated and results-driven, with a proven ability to prepare and present inspiring presentation materials.
Role Details
- Reference: 8937
- Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
- Travel: Nationwide travel with some time on site weekly; client visits in London required
- Benefits: Company car
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Contract length: approximately one year
