Overview

Key Account Manager – Scotland

IQVIA is recruiting for a Key Account Manager to shape and direct the use of an anti-fungal agent across Scotland. You will deliver a high-quality commercial approach to maximise opportunities and investments, using your negotiation skills. You will produce and implement bespoke initiatives that enable access to the client’s products by NHS and private providers.

It is essential to maintain a high level of knowledge of the defined therapy areas and NHS policies (local and national) by proactively reviewing current positions and providing solutions to ensure the use of the client’s products.

Responsibilities
  • Shape and direct the use of an anti-fungal agent across Scotland
  • Deliver a high-quality commercial approach to maximise opportunities and investments
  • Produce and implement bespoke initiatives to enable access to the client’s products by NHS and private providers
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of therapy areas and NHS policies, proactively reviewing positions and providing solutions
Qualifications
  • Ideally experience in the anti-infective marketplace within the UK or a proven track record in specialty medicine in secondary care
  • ABPI qualification
  • Strong selling, commercial acumen and negotiating skills
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with key customers including clinicians, commissioners and business managers
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the product, disease area and customer environment, including NHS budgetary and planning processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
