Summary

KAYAI is looking for a Team Lead who will be responsible for leading the Selfridges Kayali counter to deliver exceptional customer experience, drive sales performance, and uphold the highest standards of brand representation. You will manage daily operations, coach your team, and bring Kayali's storytelling and fragrance expertise to life for every customer. This role is key in ensuring consistent growth, operational excellence, and a motivated team culture.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership
  • Drive daily, weekly, and monthly sales to exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor with strong service, selling, and storytelling.
  • Use coaching to elevate team confidence, fragrance layering skills, and conversion.
  • Train and motivate Retail Sales Consultants to deepen their product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Deliver daily briefs, coaching moments, and on‑counter training.
  • Support the team with guided fragrance discovery and layering expertise.
Operations & Stock Management
  • Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and ensure optimal availability at all times.
  • Maintain merchandising, hygiene, and visual standards to brand guidelines.
  • Oversee replenishment, tester management, and operational compliance.
  • Maintain strong relationships with store management and floor teams.
  • Provide feedback on counter performance, customer behaviours, and competitor activity.
  • Communicate daily/weekly performance updates to the Area Manager or Education team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-4 years of retail experience in beauty or fragrance, with leadership exposure.
  • Strong selling, coaching, and storytelling skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and confident in leading a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft tools (Outlook, Excel)
