A growing facilities management company in Greater London is seeking a Junior Technical Services Estimator. This newly created role involves managing the estimating process for tenders, collaborating with sales to strategize bids, and applying technical industry knowledge. Ideal candidates have a background as engineers or junior estimators and understand facilities management, particularly maintenance. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer
In this newly created role, you will manage and quote Facilities Management tenders, in line with our growth strategy and support the business through coding maintenance tasks to SFG20, to drive an accurate labour load for submission, involving multiple self-delivered and subcontracted service lines.
As our Junior Technical Services Estimator, you will have been working as an engineer or junior estimator previously and are looking for your next career challenge. You will have a good understanding of the facilities management sector, with maintenance a focus area. You will support the busy sales team with solutioning and preparing tender pricing returns, completing client bid models and providing data for presentations to support business growth.
The successful Junior Technical Services Estimator will support the business through coding maintenance tasks to SFG20, to drive an accurate labour load for submission, involving multiple self-delivered and subcontracted service lines. You will need the ability to track and forecast gross margin contributions for new business and support handover over successful tenders to the operations team and finance.
