Job summary

A well-known restaurant in the heart of Mayfair is seeking a motivated Junior Sous Chef with strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine. In this role, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, maintaining high standards of food quality and assisting with staff training. Ideal candidates have previous experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef, excellent knife skills, and a calm, organized approach in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a leadership team in an exciting new restaurant opening.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior CDP or Junior Sous Chef required.
• Excellent knife skills and product understanding necessary.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

• Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
• Running sections confidently during service
• Ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation

• Contributing to prep planning and service flow
• Strong knowledge and experience in Japanese cuisine
