The candidate will lead and monitor nursing care standards, work with a multidisciplinary team, and possess SACT competency and communication course certification. Ward C33 in the Queens Centre has a 6 month secondment opportunity for a committed, experienced and aspiring nurse to join an established enthusiastic nursing team who provide high standards of holistic nursing care to patients with cancer with varied medical, nursing and psychological needs. The ward junior sister/charge nurse will be an inclusive proactive member of the senior nursing team within specialist services.
The ward junior sister/charge nurse will work to their own initiative, leading, developing, improving and monitoring standards of care to ensure safety for all patients and staff. They will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide a quality service for our patients. They should have a good understanding of the Queens Centre, Ward 33 operations and JACIE regulations. The successful candidate will be SACT competent and hold a communication course certificate.
