The team is hiring a Junior Network Engineer to support the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network environments. The role will focus on assisting senior engineers, maintaining performance, and gaining exposure to enterprise-level projects and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first- and second-line support for client networks, escalating issues to senior engineers when necessary.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of client network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless systems).
  • Monitor client networks using MSP tools (RMM/NMS platforms) and respond to alerts within SLA timelines.
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security issues across multi-tenant environments.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, including network assessments and documentation.
  • Maintain and update network diagrams, client documentation, and ticketing systems.
  • Work with senior engineers on implementing network upgrades, migrations, and security improvements.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, ensuring clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on networking best practices and emerging technologies relevant to the MSP space.
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing & switching).
  • Familiarity with network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a customer-facing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple client issues simultaneously while meeting SLA targets.
  • Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, multi-client environment.
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or Fortinet NSE.
  • Experience with RMM/NMS tools (e.g., ConnectWise, N-able, Datto, PRTG, SolarWinds).
  • Exposure to cloud networking (Microsoft Azure, AWS networking, Office 365).
  • Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python).
