About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and creative Junior Marketing Executive to join the Thrive marketing team. This role is ideal for a recent marketing graduate looking for their first role in the industry or someone with early experience in a junior marketing role. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you'll support the delivery of day‑to‑day marketing activity across social media, email, website and events. Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage daily activity across Thrive's social media channels, including scheduling posts, moderating groups and engaging with online communities.
- Create and source engaging bite‑size content and digital assets (e.g., images, videos, surveys, testimonials).
- Actively listen and engage across platforms; respond promptly to queries and identify emerging themes, opportunities or concerns.
Content Creation and Coordination
- Draft and edit copy in Thrive's tone of voice for use across a variety of channels.
- Produce visual content for digital use, including basic graphics and short video edits.
- Draft copy for marketing materials such as social posts, web pages and email content.
- Assist with case study coordination, including gathering information, preparing interview questions, arranging calls, drafting content and managing updates.
Website and Email Marketing
- Help maintain and update the Thrive website, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and on brand.
- Support the creation and delivery of marketing emails, including building templates, updating content and testing.
Campaign and Project Support
- Support the roll‑out of Thrive's updated brand across digital and offline touchpoints.
- Work with external suppliers (e.g., designers, printers, agencies) to ensure assets are delivered on time, on brand and within budget.
- Provide additional campaign support when required, helping with email builds, direct mail organisation, coordinating third‑party ads, and assisting with webinars and other campaign touchpoints.
Events and Awards
- Assist with planning and organising Thrive's presence at regional, national and international events.
- Support with logistics, preparing materials and liaising with event organisers and colleagues.
- Support the preparation of award submissions by gathering information, drafting answers and coordinating with colleagues to meet deadlines.
About You
- A degree in marketing or a related field or experience in a junior marketing role.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to create engaging content.
- Confidence using social media platforms for business (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X)
- Basic design skills using tools such as Canva or similar.
- A willingness to learn simple video editing and content creation techniques.
- Familiarity with website CMS platforms or the enthusiasm to learn.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with colleagues across the organisation.
- A proactive attitude, curiosity and a willingness to try new tools and techniques.
It would be advantageous if you had…
- Experience creating simple videos or editing short‑form content.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot or similar.
- An interest in education, children's mental health and wellbeing, and supporting professionals working with young people.
