Salary: £25000 to £30000 PA DOE
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm; Two Saturdays a month
Job Purpose
To support the day‑to‑day lettings operations, assisting clients, landlords, and tenants while ensuring properties are managed efficiently and compliant with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the marketing of properties, including uploading listings to portals, taking photographs, and creating property descriptions.
- Respond promptly to enquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, and in-person.
- Arrange and conduct property viewings with prospective tenants.
- Prepare tenancy agreements, renewal documents, and other administrative paperwork under supervision.
- Carry out reference checks, right‑to‑rent checks, and liaise with landlords and tenants regarding documentation.
- Support the management of property inspections, maintenance requests, and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of communications, applications, and property details.
- Assist in resolving day‑to‑day issues for tenants or landlords, escalating complex matters to senior staff.
- Ensure compliance with relevant lettings laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Support the team in ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE WITH OWN CAR
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, or property-related roles.
- Basic understanding of property management or lettings processes.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and online property portals.
Preferred
- Relevant property qualifications (e.g., ARLA Propertymark Level 3 or equivalent).
- Experience using property management software (e.g., Vebra, Reapit, or similar).
