Junior IT Administrator - Maternity Cover (Solmar Villas)

Role: Junior IT Administrator

Location: Burton-on Trent

Contract Type: Temporary Maternity cover, Full time, 5 days a week.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is tech savvy, a keen problem solver and is ready to roll up their sleeves to help a busy team.

The Role

Solmar Villas use Salesforce in the day to day running of their business. Reporting to the Salesforce Platform Manager, we are looking for an enthusiastic team member, with a keen interest in technology, to be our Junior IT Administrator. This role will be joining our team and help maintain and support our staff and our systems. Appropriate training and development will be provided.

The role is based in our head office in Burton-on-Trent and offers hybrid working (3 days a week are required in the office, Monday through to Wednesday).

Key Responsibilities
  • Ticket triage / logging issues with our business partners
  • Setting up Users
  • User and role profile permissions
  • Training and supporting new users
  • Report/dashboard builds and updates
  • Basic platform customization
  • Security and data management
  • Collating requirements for new processes or developments
  • Additional duties as deemed reasonable and necessary to support the effective running and development of the system and end users.

  • Maintain professionalism, working within the boundaries of Solmar policies.

  • Any other duties that may be reasonably requested.

Skills & Experience
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Any previous experience of IT Support or exposure to technology is advantageous but not essential
