About Our Client

London‑based property developer possessing a diverse pipeline of projects ranging from large‑scale regeneration schemes to high‑quality residential buildings.

Job Description

Responsibilities include:

  • Analysing potential land acquisition targets: site appraisals, valuation, market comparables.
  • Model development potential (e.g., how many units could be built, what mix: private sale, BTR, affordable).
  • Due diligence: planning risk, planning permissions, planning constraints.
  • Financial feasibility: build cost, construction timelines, profit margins, developer returns.
  • Build detailed financial models: cash flow projections, IRR (internal rate of return), NPV (net present value).
  • Scenario analysis: best / base / worst‑case for construction costs, sales prices, rent (if build‑to‑rent).
  • Prepare investment memoranda or reports for senior management / investment committee.
  • Identify and quantify risks: construction, planning, market, environmental.
The Successful Applicant

Required experience:

  • 1-2 years' experience working in a real estate investment firm or consultancy.
  • Relevant degree in real estate and/or finance.
  • Strong financial acumen and levels of investment analysis.
  • Computer literacy skills (Excel, SQL, cash flow models).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
