The position is part of a dedicated team responsible for risk mitigation and operational compliance across environmental and health and safety domains.

Core Responsibilities
  • Oversee compliance with internal risk standards and relevant workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Track and analyse key compliance indicators, contribute to performance reporting and site audits.
  • Coordinate site-level risk committees and lead operational safety briefings with cross-functional teams.
  • Manage incident reporting workflows, including documentation and follow-up.
  • Maintain and improve procedures related to operational safety, environmental impact, and employee wellbeing.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at workplace risk reduction and sustainable practices.
  • Investigate hazards, environmental breaches, or incidents with accurate analysis and follow-up.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies, insurers, and occupational health providers.
  • Assess training needs and deliver safety and compliance training sessions.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and logistics teams to embed risk control measures.
Candidate Requirements
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent safety qualification.
  • Experience in risk, safety, or compliance roles within industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Understanding of workplace risk, audits, and relevant legislation.
  • Experience managing HSE frameworks including incident investigation, COSHH, RIDDOR, DSE assessments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder influence skills.
