Qualifications

• Degree or HNC/HND in a construction-related discipline (essential).
• Strong numerical ability and analytical thinking.
• Ability to read drawings (training provided where required).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (essential).
• Good general IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Confident verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and methodical approach.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to follow processes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing estimates and tender submissions.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Produce accurate take-offs and quantify materials.
• Help price materials, labour and subcontract packages.
• Prepare and maintain tender documentation and internal databases.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Support senior estimators through all stages of the tender process.
• Gain exposure to procurement, pre-construction planning, and project handover.
