Job summary

A local recruitment agency is seeking a Joiner for a role in the North Shields area. The successful candidate will perform reactive maintenance on domestic properties, including tasks such as hanging doors and installing skirting. The role offers a long run of work, working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing or council house maintenance is preferred.
• Asbestos awareness ticket must be in date.
• Manual Handling certification required.

Job Summary

I am looking for a Joiner to work on behalf of a local council in the North Shields area. The successful candidate will carry out reactive maintenance on domestic properties across the North Shields and wider area. Work will include planned maintenance such as hanging doors, replacing architraves and installing skirting.

Work Hours and Location

8:00AM - 4:00PM, Monday to Friday

Remuneration

• £18.50 P/H Umbrella or CIS
• Long run of work

• Execute 2nd fix maintenance to a high standard

Requirements

• Previous social housing/council house maintenance experience
