Job Overview

As an IT Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the school's IT systems and infrastructure. You will ensure the smooth running of hardware, software, and networks, providing technical support to staff and students. The ideal IT Technician will have previous experience working in a school or similar environment and a strong understanding of IT support within education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first and second line IT support to staff and students.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware including PCs, laptops, printers, and interactive whiteboards.
  • Support school networks, servers, and user accounts.
  • Install, configure, and update software and operating systems.
  • Ensure safeguarding and data protection standards are followed.
  • Work closely with teaching and support staff to resolve technical issues efficiently.
Requirements
