Job description
Overview

The clinical systems programme at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust, London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust and Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will focus on a series of projects to improve care across the patient pathways in the outpatient, inpatient elective, inpatient non-elective and emergency settings. Since going live with the Cerner PAS in Apr 2014, the Trust has digitised clinical records with the Cerner EPR now in use across the organisation by all clinical services. Following the success of this project, the four Trust Boards have decided to share the same Cerner instance. NHS England’s Global Digital Exemplar (GDE) programme provided access to funding and enabled faster progress of the digital strategy. As a result, the four trusts are running a joint clinical systems programme to maximise the opportunities of sharing the same Cerner EPR domains.
