Job Title: IT Support Technician in Dungannon

Our client are an established business who are seeking a proactive and customer‑focused IT Support Technician to join their team in Dungannon. The successful candidate will provide technical support across the company, ensuring all IT systems, hardware, and software operate efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, has strong communication skills, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first‑line and second‑line technical support to staff via phone, email, and in person.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
  • Support Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and company applications.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and security groups.
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory.
  • Assist with network administration tasks, including routers, switches, and Wi‑Fi systems.
  • Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and elevate when necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance, backups, and system checks.
  • Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, rollouts, and process improvements.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of networks (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with PC/laptop hardware diagnostics and repair.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
