IT Support Technician

Full Time, Permanent Position

SFCA Support Staff pay spine points 10-12 (£26,666 - £28,048 per annum)

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to staff, students and other stakeholders through the college service desk system.
  • Work on a number of different projects across the IT estate including software and hardware installations, college wide events and supporting the network infrastructure.
  • Use initiative, demonstrate practical knowledge and problem-solving skills while maintaining effective communication with end users.
  • Contribute to System Maintenance Documentation by providing new procedures and updates as necessary.
  • Support a variety of users from different sectors; experience in education is preferred but not essential.
