This role is open to candidates at all levels - you might already be in a similar support role, just finished an IT course, or simply have a strong interest in tech and the motivation to learn. Full training will be provided, and there's a clear pathway for career progression.

What you'll be doing:

• Supporting the smooth running of IT systems to help teaching, learning, and admin run efficiently
• Providing technical support both in classrooms and deskside across multiple sites
• Helping staff and students with their use of IT and AV equipment
• Setting up and maintaining PCs, Macs, and other devices
• Installing and updating software, managing access rights, and keeping systems secure
• Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software issues
• Collaborating with the wider IT service desk team to share knowledge and offer training

What we're looking for:

• Some hands-on experience in IT Support or formal training in IT - OR a real passion for technology and helping people
• Experience of working within the education sector is a bonus, an enthusiasm for education is a must!
• Strong communication skills and a helpful, solutions-focused attitude
• Interest or experience in audio-visual (AV) equipment is a bonus
• Any Microsoft or IT certifications (e.g. MCDST, MCP) are great, but not essential
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own car
