About you

We are seeking a technically skilled and service-oriented IT Support Technician to support the venue s technology infrastructure and live event operations. This role involves managing user accounts via Microsoft Entra ID, maintaining IT assets, supporting network connectivity, and coordinating with external vendors and MSPs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment, particularly within corporate and community-focused events.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd line support for IT systems across the venue, ensuring smooth operation and user satisfaction. You ll be responsible for daily checks on critical systems such as network connectivity, device compliance, and endpoint security. You will manage user identities and access permissions in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), support onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintain the IT asset register with accurate tracking and lifecycle management.

The role involves resolving network issues, supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 systems, and managing support tickets via Jira. You will also handle device deployment through Intune, ensure security compliance, and work with vendors on escalated issues.

Requirements

You will have:

  • Experience in IT support, preferably in a venue, events, or hospitality environment.
  • User provisioning, access control, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Intune for device compliance and protection.
  • Basic understanding of network patching, switch port management, and cabling standards.
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi support.
  • Clear communication with technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a technical support team.

Having a relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) and an experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) are advantageous.
