IT Support Engineer Role

Salary: Up to £35,000 DOE

Contract: Full-time(37 hours per week)

Location: Newton Abbot, with travel to additional sites

Annual Leave: 25 days (rising to 29 after 5 years) + bank holidays

Start Date: As soon as possible

Overview

Our client is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their collaborative and forward-thinking IT team. Supporting multiple sites and over 6,000 end users, this role offers the opportunity to influence technical delivery, drive innovation, and make a meaningful impact across a diverse organisation.

You will play a key role in providing high-quality technical support, managing projects, and supporting the rollout of new technologies across the organisations schools and training environments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional telephone, remote, and on-site IT support to staff and students

Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues

Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot key systems and processes
