Job summary

A technology support firm based near Leeds is seeking an IT Support professional to provide support across Microsoft Windows Server and Office 365. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least two technologies such as VMware, Citrix, and Azure, and must demonstrate excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include incident management in a fast-paced environment and contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing. The role requires the ability to obtain SC clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Office 365; ideally VMware, Citrix, and/or Azure.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Overview

IT Support / Cloud Support / Infrastructure Support – Based near Leeds. The role requires the ability to become SC cleared.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT, cloud, and infrastructure support across Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Office 365, and, ideally, VMware, Citrix, and Azure (or at least two of them); contribute to incident management and escalation processes.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, preferably enterprise level or within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
• Collaborate with the Service Desk and escalate to 3rd Line Cloud Technical Support Engineers when required.
• Maintain strong documentation, adhere to processes and procedures, and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Office 365; ideally VMware, Citrix, and/or Azure (at least two of them) and willingness to learn more.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory; preferably some experience with Group Policy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain SC clearance.
