Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead the process to ensure services meet business needs and are scalable and sustainable.
  • Maintain an accurate, up-to-date service portfolio aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Plan, test, and deploy software and service releases with minimal disruption.
  • Manage changes effectively and facilitate CAB meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and third parties, ensuring compliance with IT policies.

Skills

Expertise in IT service lifecycle and ITIL processes

IT Service Lifecycle Manager

Location : Birmingham

Salary : £65,000 – £75,000 per annum

Department : Information Technology Services – Service Management

Reports To : Head of IT Service Desk and IT Service Transition

Working Hours : 35 hours per week (9 : 30am – 5 : 30pm). Agile and flexible working patterns considered. Hybrid working : up to 40% from home, 60% in office.

Role Overview

La Fosse are seeking an experienced IT Service Lifecycle Manager to join our global Infrastructure & Operations team. This role is pivotal in managing the full lifecycle of IT services, ensuring they are strategised, designed, transitioned, operated, and continually improved in line with ITIL best practices. You will also lead our Change Advisory Board (CAB) and oversee key processes such as Service Portfolio Management, Release Management, and Change Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Lifecycle Management : Lead the process to ensure services meet business needs and are scalable and sustainable.
  • Service Portfolio Management : Maintain an accurate, up-to-date service portfolio aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Release Management : Plan, test, and deploy software and service releases with minimal disruption.
